There are five or six projects I want to work on over the winter months.
Dorothy, which might hit the backburner. I was going to make it for halloween – still might – but now I’m not going to be in Memphis to do the group with everybody that weekend so it kinda makes it pointless. However, I might go ahead and put it together for actual Halloween night (when I WILL be in Memphis).
Hoth Leia upgrade, that is, finish the vest, boots, and gloves (and accessories) to make Bespin Escape Leia become Hoth Leia. I’m going to focus on this first, because I want to have it done for Horrorfest. I’ve had the materials since last year, it’s just a matter of getting started.
Lois Lane, which really I’m not considering a costume, but just a dress I want to have to wear.
Queen Amidala red invasion gown, which I just want to work on at my leisure, like I did the parade dress last year. I’m not intending to make it a perfect recreation, and I don’t plan on pouring a lot of money into it – I want this costume purely for trooping events.
Sarah from Labyrinth, which I’m hoping to have done in time for MidSouthCon next march. Just a costume I’ve wanted to do for several years, I really want to do it…
Wonder Woman – we’re basically scrapping almost everything we had from the first version and starting over.
Upgrades to Beast, my mando, the version 3 lake dress (new jewelry, new necklace, new hairpiece)… I think that’s it?
